The Merchandising Supervisor is responsible for leading a team of frontline merchandisers to merchandise orders to key customers in a fast-paced direct store delivery environment.
Essential Responsibilities
- Apply knowledge of merchandising principles to drive productivity.
- Responsible for scheduling, coverage and performance execution of all merchandisers.
- Train current and new merchandisers in the role, responsibilities and job duties via ride-with activity.
- Review and score execution of merchandiser team.
- Conduct route relief during merchandiser vacations, sick days call outs, etc.
- Maintain Double Eagle’s commitment to excellence in the market place through proper training and follow-up.
- Direct the merchandising team in their efforts to implement Double Eagle’s merchandising strategies in specified accounts, including site visits to ensure that merchandising is optimal in all accounts.
- Build, develop, and lead the merchandising team based upon current and future needs.
- Coordinate and/or execute all account specific support programs and promotions.
- Maintain package integrity and quality standards in the marketplace.
- Stay abreast of all pricing, promotions and company goals.
- Responsible for assessing merchandiser performance with designated assessment form.
- Responsible for maintaining a quarterly calendar and daily Call Sheet.
- Address employee issues, consistently, effectively and timely.
- Adhere to and enforce all company standards, guidelines, policies and procedures.
- Demonstrate Double Eagle’s mission, vision, values in all responsibilities.
- Represent the Double Eagle in a professional and courteous manner at all times.
- Assist employees with prioritizing their work and promote teamwork.
- Set productivity and service targets and measure performance to drive accountability.
- Staff, train, evaluate and develop team members.
- Anticipate potential customer issues; and apply contingency planning to avoid customer dissatisfaction.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Position Qualifications
· Minimum 5 year experience in consumer products, beverage industry preferred
· Minimum 2 year experience with managing frontline employees
· Must have solid leadership skills and effective communication skills
· Ability to work a flexible schedule including early mornings, evenings and/ or weekend
· Must be willing and able to lift and stack products up to 50 lbs. periodically
· High school diploma or GED required, Bachelor’s degree preferred
· Mus be proficient with computer and database applications
· Valid Florida driver's license and excellent driving record
· Must have required level of insurance coverage
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $45,000.00 to $50,000.00 /year
