JOB DESCRIPTION / REQUIREMENTS:
- Responsible for sales and service of corporate partnerships and hospitality
- Assist the Talladega Business Development service team in execution of all marketing plans on property during race weekend
- Assist the service team in service of all hospitality on property during race weekend
- Responsible for making calls to existing customers and prospects to ensure 100% service and gauging interest in new business
- Provide customers with superior service in a timely and efficient manner
- Maintain accurate and timely data to effectively communicate to sales team
- Participate and contribute to weekly sales team meetings and training sessions
- Responsible for assisting in the renewal and maintenance of all accounts
- Work outside events including promotional functions, race week responsibilities, and weekends
- Other duties as assigned by the Director of Business Development
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience in sales and cold-calling is preferred but not a requirement
- Self starter, career-oriented professional
- Strong work ethic and a desire to build a career in sports business is required
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Proven written and presentation skills
- Ability to work nights, weekends and holidays
- Bachelors degree preferred
- Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint
Compensation: Hourly. Position is Temporary, Full-Time with no benefits.
