The objective of this position is to develop sales through food brokers, distributors and targeted operators within the foodservice segment Regional Sales Manager (RSM) will be proficient in selling and developing relationships with key multi-unit accounts, strategically important operators and distributors The RSM will also have a thorough understanding of the relationship between manufacturers, food brokers, distributors, and operators The RSM will be responsible for managing and developing all aspects of their respective region to include new product distribution, distributor relationships, broker development and budget control Key to this position is maintaining and utilizing CRM / Salesforce


The position requires regular regional travel The regional sales manager should be living somewhere in the center of this region, preferably in a major metropolitan area

Responsibilities (include but not limited to):

Successful execution of the Corporate Strategic Plan and mutually developed strategic and tactical objectives in assigned Region
Developing and presenting Business Plans & Distributors, Broker Scorecard - Broker
Managing all local trade spend, expense budgets and deductions
Manage local data supporting Salesforce utilization
Supply market intelligence forecasts, market analysis and market strategies
Reporting changes in the market that could impact our business
Management, training and development of Company's Brokers in assigned region
Development of Company's Business in all multi-unit accounts within assigned region
Development of distribution within assigned region
Development of new products through new distribution and operator penetration
Manage sales and profits within assigned regions
Develop systems and support processes to create opportunities and programs at the regional level
Support National Accounts team and objectives within the assigned region
Manage profitable product portfolio
Communicating to key people within the appointed regions changes in pricing, logistics and products
Utilize and leverage marketing assets; traditional marketing support, social media, and technology to create value beyond the Burger


Capturing a disproportionate share of broker's sales time to support the sale of Schweid & Sons products
Motivating, training and developing the broker and distributor sales representatives to sell Schweid & Sons products
To meet the competitive challenge with more effective and creative programs which will support our position as a category leader, creating value past the Burger
Create relationships with key personal within each of our sales segments, owners, operators and top executives to assist in the development of our business with
these accounts
Develop a balanced approach managing customer's needs with the profitability of Schweid & Sons
