Are you ready to jump start your career as an Assembler? Then this is the job for you! We are looking for a 1st shift Assembler to join our team!

Summary:
Using a variety of hand and power tools, fixtures and work instructions, perform a series of operations to correctly assemble, test and package pneumatic controls and accessories.

Responsibilities

  • Examine components and assemblies for overall condition and correct fit.
  • Follow assembly instructions to assemble product subassemblies and complete assemblies by aligning/mating/threading/pinning, utilizing various hand tools, presses and other methods as instructed.
  • Review job traveler instructions and bill of material against engineering drawings for a complete understanding of the job requirements
  • Apply appropriate lubrication, thread sealant and thread lockers as instructed.
  • Inspect and test completed assemblies.
  • Label and package according to the job specifications.
  • Rework rejected product as specified by test results, replacing appropriate components and retesting.
  • Perform accurate and timely data entry into the ERP system on each job.
  • Report problems with quality, processes or equipment to department Leader.
  • Comply with company policies, safety requirements, and requirements of the Quality Management System.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Qualifications

  • 0-2 Years Assembly experience
  • Ability to read and comprehend procedures written in English
  • Basic computer navigation skills
  • Ability to use hands and fingers
  • Ability to sit, stand walk reach within hands and arms length.
  • Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
