Reporting directly to our Channel Director in our Santa Clara, CA HQ, Actiontec's ScreenBeam Wireless Display business unit is seeking a highly motivated Channel Inside Sales Representative that is responsible for recruiting, educating and developing qualified channel partnerships with the goal of growing the North America channel revenue.

This individual will be responsible for creating and recognizing product opportunities. Provide support to regional channel sales managers to keep account activities current; assist with and close sales; and identify and solicit new opportunities for quarterly sales goals, supporting managed Elite Partners as well as developing partners through our partner program. Large focus on corporate sector with Enterprise and SMB developing opportunities around conference room transformation and collaboration.

This seeing-is-believing technology will ultimately end up in every conference room, meeting room, and classroom around the globe. The Channel Inside Sales Representative requires an understanding of the market and wireless display solutions Actiontec sells. Must be adept in selling technology-based hardware and software solutions. Must be able to create strong interpersonal relationships with partners, be an effective communicator and project leader. Candidate is highly motivated, self-starter and understands how to work collaboratively and seamlessly in a team focused environment.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

  • Must be a team player with lots of energy, and a "can do" attitude
  • Ability to hunt; Cold call, develop and manage outbound calling campaigns. Proactively recruit, educate, and nurture channel partners to achieve success.
  • Experience developing and recruiting Pro-AV/ conference room solutions providers selling into SME, Enterprise, and Education a plus!
  • Ability to clearly and effectively qualify partners and opportunities
  • Establish productive, mutually beneficial partnerships with highly-engaged channel partners.
  • Coordinate company personnel, including support, technical and management resources to ensure partners and end-customers are achieving success.
  • Lead solution selling effort to and through your channel partners to ensure high-volume of new end-customers are being engaged, opportunities closed, and customers are achieving high-levels of satisfaction with ScreenBeam solutions.
  • Responsible for supporting partners ability to win private and public-sector tenders, including government bids, contracts, and RFP opportunities
  • Analyze sales and pipeline performance on a weekly basis to ensure goals are being met and key metrics are being used to drive decision making and work effort.
  • Align with our corporate mission, vision, values and strategy and ensure they are translated into action through performance goals, communication and feedback processes; be highly accountable for your efforts and results.
  • Provide transparency through clear communication and weekly reporting; collect and provide up-to-date market status, forecast, competitor movement, and partners goals quarterly.
  • Have strong CRM skills, document activities and customer information properly. Maintain a highly reliable opportunity pipeline with detailed information.
  • Experience working with/through distributors such as D&H, Ingram, Synnex, Tech Data, and Douglas Stewart.

Profile Requirements:


  • Bachelor's Degree in business or equivalent experience.
  • Hunter mentality a must.
  • Requires a minimum of 7-10 years of experience inside sales working with VAR, SI, MSP, NSPs.
  • Must possess the skills required to develop positive and productive relationships with partners, sales teams, and managers.
  • Must have a proven track record of success in achieving measurable monthly lead development/sales goals
  • Flexible and willing to adjust to the demands of the role.
  • Professional communication skills both internally and externally.
  • Must be proficient with Salesforce and Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Willingness to travel on an as needed basis
