  • Promote the development of a Learning Mindset across the organization
  • Identify training solution opportunities through needs assessment and regular connection and partnership with internal stakeholders. Align and prioritize training needs with company, business unit and functional goals/objectives
  • Market and promote training opportunities to department leaders and employees in a compelling way to drive engagement, proficiency, productivity, teamwork, retention, growth, and customer satisfaction.
  • Utilize technology to enhance the learning experience, deliver content and track individual requirements and program completion through
    • Training Checklists
    • Quick Reference Guides (QRGs) and other applicable work instructions
    • Individual Training Records (ITRs)
    • Department Training Records (DTRs).
  • Coordinate with Level 4 employees (Training Mentors) and department managers to schedule, recruit for, and deliver Level 3 (Train-the-Trainer) training.
  • Work individually and in small groups to coach Level 3 trainers to maintain accurate & timely training records and become ever more engaging trainers.
  • Coordinate with Level 4 and Level 3 employees to deliver Level 2 training & refreshers.
  • Facilitate regular Training Team meetings with Level 3 & 4 employees to deliver updates and practice training techniques.
  • Maintain and further develop the iShare training page.
  • Coordinate with other departments to produce, update, and distribute employee recognition materials including certificates, the employee photo board and other signage, and internal marketing materials.
  • Assist with orientation and other onboarding activities for new employees as appropriate.
  • Analyze and incorporate new training methods and techniques
  • Develop and prepare educational/training aids and materials, as needed
  • Analyze the effectiveness of training solutions through surveys, evaluations, testing and on-the-job application results.
  • Support implementation & auditing of ISO & other standards as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Significant work experience (5+ years) as a trainer preferably in a small to medium sized manufacturing environment characterized by hands on/entrepreneurial environment
  • Familiar with both traditional and modern job training methods, trends and techniques
  • Exhibits strong presentation and facilitation skills
  • Positive, inclusive, can-do attitude, even during times of interdepartmental stress & conflict
  • Ability to engage, relate with, and motivate employees
  • Ability to quickly learn and adapt in a rapidly changing, high volume production environment
