Financial Partner Supervisor

Responsible for assisting the Vice President in the overall management of daily functioning of the office. Direct responsibility for administration and supervision of lending staff and coordinates with department heads within the organization. Accountable for quality control, efficiencies, budget management and all Credit Union goals and objectives for Consumer Lending.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership and oversight of the Loan process, ensuring accuracy, efficiency and superior member service in the process.
  • Maintain a highly motivated, well-trained staff, maintaining effective employee relations
  • Assume responsibility for the credit quality and ongoing soundness of the consumer lending portfolio, including accurate and complete credit files, ongoing quality control and acceptable loan reviews.
  • Maintains a working schedule for Financial Partners. (Saturdays, Vacations, Sick Time, etc. )
  • Ensure that the rules and regulations of the organization are followed properly.
  • Monitor key products and sales within branch to ensure profitable and sound business practices and a high quality of service for members.
  • Hold periodic staff meetings. Identify areas of improvement, changes in procedures, new developments, or changes in services or products. Keep staff up to date on trends and general credit union information.
  • Create and maintain a cross-selling environment within the branch.
  • Adhere to all Federal and State laws and regulations applicable to the credit union, including the Bank Secrecy Act and OFAC.
