Summary/Objective

This position is responsible for managing customer/sales graphic setups and various projects such as mockups, flyers and sold parts. A complete knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite a must (Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat and In-design) This position will be responsible for supporting the Customer Service Representative, outside sales team and outside Customers. Some prepress knowledge is necessary.

Required Skills

• Knowledge in a Mac Based Environment
• Knowledge in file sizing and setup for production of digital artwork for both proofing and production.
• A strong, clean design aesthetic and a meticulous eye for detail
• Highly proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign).
• Proficient using Microsoft Excel, Power Point Word
• Detail oriented and organized.
• Telephone communication skills with outside customers and internal customers.
• Working with customer service projects from start to finish (Project management)
• Preflight files for the production process
• Color correct files as necessary for production
• Validate that finished printed product meets the customers expectations
• Have a clear understanding of ripping and troubleshooting problematic files through the digital process.
• Ability to add, sub-tract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Good time management skills.
• Ability to provide feedback, ideas, concepts, etc. in an effective professional manor

Required Education and Experience

• Associates/Bachelor’s in graphic design or related field - Recent graduates will be considered.
• Or 1–3 years design/prepress experience in the design or related field

Essential Functions

• Must be able to manage projects from concept to completion with minimal supervision (This includes the production process)
• Multi task between project request and questions for both sales and production departments
• Working in a job queue environment completing the daily demands of customer service and outside sales teams.
• Have a strong sense of composition and creative design.
• Fluent in the Adobe Suite: Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat and In-design must be able to build production quality files.
• Knowledge of building in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point.
• Keeping projects highly organized.
• Comfortable with working directly with CSR’s Outside sales and Customers.
• Comfortable with working directly with production managers and press operators.
• Handle multiple projects and task at the same time.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Confident, articulate communicator with the ability to make strategic and intelligent decisions.
• Capable of reviewing supplied artwork and understanding if it can be used in the production process.
• Responsible for handling all aspects of prepress production of approved art files from creative to production
