• Kailua, HawaiiAs the Senior Patient Access Manager at Adventist Health Castle Medical Center in Kailua, Hawaii, you will manage operations in the patient access department including lead patient access functions in a complex mix of high-volume, high-revenue, and multi-services settings. Direct operational interactions within the patient scheduling department and other hospital departments, physician offices, and off-site entities. You will also use your expertise to review, analyze, and correct account errors and supervise insurance with verification authorization staff with pre-registration activities. Consult with registration staff and medical staff on ways to improve patient satisfaction and survey results. Your role as a senior manager also includes leading initiatives and operations with hospital leadership representatives from facilities associated with patient account services.
Lead associate management as you manage routine associate situations, direct work efforts and results of the team, and develop team goals and manage for results. Drive success of the team by developing associates through coaching performance, completing performance reviews, goal setting and development planning.

Qualifications
Basic Qualifications- Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; or equivalent relevant work experience
- At least 5 years patient access work experience
- At least 2 years people management work experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- Willing to travel up to 20% as needed
- Willing to work additional or irregular hours as needed and allowed by local regulations
- Must currently reside in Kailua, HI or be willing to relocate
