Ziegler CAT has an opening for a full-time Product Support Sales Representative in our Power Systems Division. The Power Systems Division at Ziegler CAT sells, services and rents generators and electrical distribution equipment. The Product Support Sales Representative is responsible for selling parts, service, and customer support solutions in a defined territory.

Minimum Physical Requirements: • Push/pull up to 10 lbs • Lift up to 30 lbs • Carry up to 50 lbs • Neck rotation, trunk rotation, stair climbing, ladder climbing, repetitive bending, kneeling, sustained squat, forward reaching, overhead reaching. Ziegler Inc. will reasonably accommodate the known disabilities of qualified disabled individuals.- Prepare customer support agreements, contracts and repair work quotes and present to assigned power systems customers
- Use CRM to track customer activity including phone calls and in-person visits. In addition, use CRM to track sales opportunity including all wins and losses
- Communicate and work closely with Sales, Service, Parts and Caterpillar personnel to ensure customer satisfaction
- Answer customer questions regarding parts and service products, pricing and credit terms
- Maintain good customer relations; intervene to solve problems and disputes; look for ways to enhance customer relations within the scope of Ziegler’s Mission Statement
- Employ a “consultative selling” approach to identify and manage customer expectations
- Work closely with the Service Writer and Service Manager to open and close work orders, manage SWIP, review work orders for accuracy, manage parts, labor and misc. charges
- Maintain and keep current customer equipment inventory using CRM
- Log future customer maintenance; keep up with new products and developments that are relevant to our customers
- Work in a cooperative manner with customers, team members and superiors
- Meet and respond to the needs of assigned customers in a professional and timely manner
- Understand the competition to maintain the Ziegler’s competitive advantage
Qualifications:
- 2-year degree required; 4 year degree is preferred
- 2+ years of related sales experience
- Strong customer service skills
- Results-oriented and self-starter
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Excellent communication skills – written and verbal
- Sense of urgency
- Clean driving record
