The Key Account Manager III Foodservice Frozen can be located anywhere in the US, have a home office, with 50% travel. The Key Account Manager III plans and implements sales to specific, major accounts where cultivating relationships, identifying opportunities and account management skills are critical. The Key Account Manager III is responsible for the development, growth, and profitability of key accounts. The primary focus will be on top 200 national restaurant chains. This position will partner closely with marketing, finance, R&D, purchasing, demand planning, and many other internal teams. The position will work to set priorities and formulate the best overall approach for Dawn to sell profitably in each account, whether it is an existing, recently acquired or potential account. The Key Account Manager III Foodservice Frozen will be required to develop relationships and partnerships with our key customers, acting as a consultant and solution provider helping them become successful by assisting and influencing the customer in applying Dawn Food’s products to their needs resulting in revenue and profit generation.

Responsibilities

Participate in monthly forecasting and planning to support operational efficiency. Monitor weekly/monthly sales and profit results; compile customer business reporting as required.
Prospect and develop new national account foodservice chains.
Prioritize activities to balance customer and internal time requirements Work closely with R&D, finance, and marketing teams to bring products to market.
Attend tradeshows, training and plant tours as assigned.
Perform timely internal and external communication and administrative activities as assigned; including but not limited to: price change forms, new item forms, allowance forms, etc Determine go-to-market strategies for Dawn products in support of key customer initiatives

Qualifications

Degree: Bachelor’s Degree
Subjects: Sales, Marketing, Business or will consider strong leadership and senior level experience as a substitute
7-10 years of experience in the selling of food products or related field
At least 7 years of experience in selling to and managing national or large regional accounts.
Proven success in team environment is essential
Culinary or technical food background is preferred
