POSITION DESCRIPTION:
The Trade Marketing Manager LA Region will lead the development and execution and evaluation of Trade marketing programs in collaboration with the regional teams. They will work closely with Marketing and Regional Leadership to develop integrated strategies that drive sales for the Region and across North America for the SMM, Food Service and Supermarket channels. Key point of contact for sales in the region and responsible for ensuring communication and sales tools for OTIF execution of all marketing programs and 6T calendar initiatives, as well as driving thought leadership and go-to-market strategies across focus accounts.

Marketing Plan Execution: Drive flawless execution of NA and regional specific initiatives, in line with sales readiness guidelines. Evaluation of program ROI/ROO with clear recommendations.

Market Insights: Capture and share market insights based on customer needs and competitive understanding as foundation to regional growth plans.

Promotions: Develop and execute national and regional promotions in line with brand standards. Development of channel-specific plans with Key Account teams. Evaluation of program ROI/ROO with clear recommendations.

Customer support: Single point of contact for sales and customers for selling tools and marketing support. Marketing leadership of local events including Bakers Gatherings, ensuring linkage to broader plans.

Internal & External Customer Relationships: Collaborate with broader marketing organization to drive plans and across regional teams as day to day marketing contact.

Applies in depth customer / channel understanding to build strong channel strategies and plants. Demonstrates strong knowledge of Dawn business, competitive landscape, products, customers, and brand.

Demonstrates a strong grasp of Targeting, Segmentation, and Brand Strategy to contribute to the NA / Regional plan and deploy initiatives successfully within the region.

Creates activation programs to drive revenue growth and engender loyalty with new and prospective customers.

Stays abreast of Digital trends by actively scanning news, media and industry expert. Recognizes the impact of technologies and looks for ways work in Marketing at Dawn can be quickly pivoted to the future.

Performs other related duties as assigned or requested.

REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelors Degree Required / Masters Preferred

Marketing Experience (consumer, B2B, shopper and/or trade) of at least 3 years preferred

People Management Experience for at least 3 yrs+ preferred

Experience managing events and creating customer experience in line with brand standards.

Strong relationship building skills to influence business leaders and work in a matrixed environment. Can quickly and effectively shift approach based on audience.
