Account Executive (Southeast Region)

Objective

We're looking for an assertive go-getter who embraces challenge, possesses an entrepreneurial spirit, and who will drive new business for TRIGO-SCSI's South East Region as well as for the organization. The successful candidate is somebody who can develop, maintain, and grow new business relationships while maintaining relationships with existing customers.

You must have a verifiable record of increasing sales.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

The Account Executive's major responsibilities include:

  • Research and define industrial target accounts in the automotive services/quality and VMI warehousing sector
  • Prepare and deliver technical sales presentations to key decision makers at both corporate and plant levels
  • Continually pursue the expansion of the current OEM relationship and promote value-added service additions
  • Continually maintain awareness of supplier changes and additions, to expand opportunities for containment and VMI services
  • Monitor Aging reports and address non-payment issues that have exceeded terms
  • Sell services per TRIGO-SCSI's objectives and sales strategy
  • Assist in planning or modifying services to meet customer needs
  • Manage overall sales process of accounts
  • Develop and lead business plans
  • Work to solve customer problems
  • Work closely with corporate support teams
  • Help establish annual and monthly sales objectives
  • Produce reports, summaries, and forecasts as required
  • Communicate with national and international sales teams
  • Travel and customer entertainment as required
  • Train and mentor other sales people

JOB SKILLS & COMPETENCIES

  • Knowledge of principles and methods for promoting and selling services
  • Expert level organizing and planning
  • Strong negotiating skills and abilities
  • Direct and Indirect sales experience
  • Understanding of supply chains
  • OEM network knowledge in the automotive industry
  • Ability to work remotely/flexible work schedule
  • Strong PC and systems experience with database and reporting tools
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

5-8 years business development experience required, preferably selling services to the automotive industry

Bachelor's degree
