Industrial Sales Representative Job Opening

Forbo Movement Systems is a leading global manufacturer of high quality conveyor and processing belts, plastic modular belts, timing belts, and flat belts that have been creating customer driven solutions for power transmission and light material handling since 1919. Forbo Movement Systems is part of the global Forbo Group.

We are Looking for an energetic, self-motivated individual with expertise in developing relationships, technical sales and troubleshooting of industrial applications to join our Sales Team. A proven self-starter who can manage a territory while working independently. Overnight Travel will be required.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prospect, present and close deals with end users, OEM’s and distributors
• Be able to present a Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) concept in a relationship sales environment
• Work independently and collaboratively with a small team to manage projects
• Trouble shoot technical applications and find solutions to help improve customers process
• Respond to customer needs on a timely basis

BACKGROUND & EXPERIENCE

• Preferred – Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing or Engineering
• 5 years’ experience in sales and/or marketing of industrial products required
• Proven record calling on decision makers at the Plant Level.
• Excellent communicator and team player.
• Experience in the Industrial Belting sector preferred
• Proficiency in MS Office suite required
• CRM experience a plus

Will be responsible for sales territories in Louisiana, Arkansas, Mississippi. Candidate’s home base should be centrally located within this territory. Base salary plus commissions. Excellent benefits.
