Omaha Standard Palfinger (OSP) is currently seeking an experienced Marketing Coordinator supporting our Council Bluffs, IA manufacturing facility, reporting to the Palfinger National Sales Manager.

Position Summary:

This position is responsible for the coordination and development of marketing of PAL Pro (truck bodies) and PSC (service cranes) products in North America. Responsibilities include creating and delivering marketing ideas and activities, concepts, materials, projects and messages consistent with the corporate image of the PALFINGER North America Region (PNAR). The person will work closely with area marketing, OSP management, the outside sales team, the inside sales team, and our customers and distributors.

  • Coordinate, prepare, edit & oversee approval process for local communication efforts (external audiences): OSP Distributor Newsletter, announcements, social media presence such as Facebook and Twitter, job stories and photography/video.
  • Prepare, gain approval for and present press releases to the PNAR marketing leadperson for targeted media lists, monitor press coverage and act as the funnel for press inquiries.
  • Conduct customer interviews to learn about markets & develop job reports, customer testimonials and other marketing materials (i.e. advertisements, brochure content).
  • Work with the marketing leadperson for print & online advertising campaigns within industry publications (rate negotiation, insertion, design, production), review editorial calendars and submit content.
  • Work with Product Management to develop text for a variety of marketing material and mediums (advertisements, brochures, editorial, etc.)
  • Support event management with editorial coverage of trade shows, product launches, conferences, etc.
  • Create and manage OSP marketing budget – log planned and processed expenses, working collectively with the PALFINGER marketing department.
  • Establish and maintain end-user contact lists through the use of EDA data and OSP warranty registrations.
  • Conduct quarterly customer satisfaction surveys and disseminate the collation of the data.
  • Establish and maintain territorial market opportunity and penetration measurements.
  • Establish and maintain distributor contact information, with cooperation of OSP Regional Sales Manager in the Salesforce CRM database.
  • Maintain market numbers with AISBM and TSCMG data and reporting, and utilize the data to identify product opportunities.
  • Maintain the relevant Palfinger online website pages through working collectively with the PALFINGER Marketing department.
  • Assist both the Outside and Inside Sales departments with various projects and duties.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing – Strongly preferred.
  • Schedule and attend meetings and conference calls as required, gather notes from the meetings and calls to disseminate.
  • Prepare presentations & clearly and effectively communicate information.
  • Travel up to 30% - Required.
  • Event planning experience strongly preferred.
  • Strong competence in MS Office products to in PowerPoint, Publisher, Outlook, Word and Excel.
  • Experience in Salesforce customer relationship management platform or similar CRM platform strongly preferred.
  • Maintains a professional presence both virtually and in person.
  • Assists in answering phones and welcoming visitors.
