Southeastern Food Merchandisers is currently hiring for our loading crew. This is an operations position responsible for loading of pre-assembled merchandise/pallets for shipment.

Responsibilities
  • Loads shipments as required; constant lifting of boxes weighing up to 100 pounds each using a pallet jack.
  • Loads trucks according to truck mapping and special instruction
  • Loads product in a manner to avoid damages and maintain load stability to insure driver safety.
  • Ensures that pallets are properly wrapped to insure stability. Unloads and cleans out trucks as necessary
  • Operates forklift and pallet jacks (manual or electric) in a safe manner.
  • Prepares products for shipment under general supervision by weighing, handling and transporting as necessary.
  • Ensures pallets have pick labels facing out to allow for proper delivery to customers
  • Hand loads product onto trucks as required
  • Complies with all safety regulations and standards.
