Established since 1997, AqualiteUS is a premier water conditioning firm based in Bedford, MA. , with sales offices in Alabama, Florida and New Jersey. The firm is seeking an entrepreneurial, energetic, and driven individual to join our sales team as a Sales Representative. This highly visible position will be responsible for conducting in-home water analyses and demonstrations to identify water quality issues, make proposals to resolve water quality issues, educate prospects on the value proposition of the product, and close sales contracts.
Responsibilities:
- Sell water treatment systems, service contracts, and other products to residential home owners and other qualified prospects
- Sell any additional products and/or services should AqualiteUS develop them for the marketplace
- Memorize and present a complete sales demonstration of all appropriate company products
- Cover sales leads in assigned territory
- By creative effort, develop water treatment sales leads in assigned territory by means of prospecting, cold calling, obtaining referrals (minimum 3-4 per day), door knocking, hard setting appointments in assigned strategic partner stores, canvassing, bottle drops, distributing door hanger materials, and other methods of obtaining business.
- Prepare appropriate sales contracts including accurate descriptions of materials sold
- Prepare finance applications on behalf of the company, observing company policy and collecting documentation and down payments as appropriate
- Contact customers after all demonstrations and sales to ensure satisfaction, convince unsold prospects to purchase company products, and obtain referrals
- Deal courteously and professionally with customers, always with high standards of personal conduct and business ethics, while demonstrating professional sales methods per company policy
- Maintain prospect and call back files and activity records
- Attend regular sales meetings and other office activities as required
- Maintain demo kit and all sales materials including cell phones, tablets, and company forms in clean, working order.
- Complete all required training courses
- Own or have access to an automobile or other reasonable and appropriate transportation. Maintain such transportation as needed to perform all job duties, including maintaining a valid driver’s license and insurance coverage
- Complete other assignments as directed by sales management
Qualifications and Experience:
- An associate’s degree or equivalent work experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Solid basic math and computational skills
- Prior direct sales experience is a plus
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization
- Flexibility to meet with customers in their homes on week nights and weekends
- Ability to give and receive feedback on job performance and customer interactions from peers and managers
- Strong interpersonal skills with customers and co-workers

Compensation:
- Annual salary plus a very competitive, commission based compensation plan will be offered for this position. A high performer will have the opportunity for significant earnings. Details of the commission plan will be finalized directly with the selected candidate.
