We are looking for a qualified Crane Sales Specialist for our Vehicle Division.

What you will do :
- Prospect for New Customers in the designated geographical area for Straight Boom Cranes
- Prospect for New Customers in the designated geographical area for Articulated Cranes primarily targeting non earth moving customers.
- Assist other Sales Managers with sales support with their customer base.
- Increase sales in the designated geographical area. Primary focus is on growth for South Western United States market along with opportunities in other areas.
- Support customer development and facilitate new opportunities for the firm including create and maintain customer and product database.
- Manage and participate in customer proposal development, preparation, pricing and presentations.
- Maintaining a complete and detailed understanding of all products and services offered.
- Liaison between the client and Southwest Products manufacturing and operations.
What we need from you :
- A strong mechanical aptitude is desired.
- Highly detailed orientated
- Excellent written, verbal, communication and presentation skills
- Make decisions with minimal supervision and information
- Positive attitude and works well with others
- Five or more years of proven sales experience in the work truck industry or construction equipment industry
- B.A. or B.S. preferred.
Working Conditions, Travel/Schedule Expectations:
- Remote office that is based in the corresponding territory
- 50 -75% travel will be required.
- Self-starter, that is organized and is comfortable working in an isolated setting.
- Flexibility in planning for quick reaction to customer requests.
