Director of Sales Support (Life Insurance) Job Opening

Focus 10 Life, an affiliate of NFP is seeking a Director for the nationwide distribution and sales support. This is done through multiple distribution channels, including Ameritas General Agencies, Independent Producers, and Focus 10 Life Sub-GA’s.

Essential Job Functions

• Relationship Development
• Education and training – Meetings, Conference Calls, Webcasts, and e-mail.
• Development of Marketing pieces as needed:
  • Marketing Guide, PowerPoints, e-mail blasts, Case Studies, Employer pieces and updates to Focus 10 Life Website
• Maintain Contact Databases – ACT and Constant Contact
  • This includes tracking of all opportunities quoted
• Sales Reports as required
• Sales support:
  • Producer phone calls
  • Conference calls with Producer and Prospect
• Responsible for All aspects of Focus 10 Life sales cycle:
  • Quoting – responsible for timeliness and accuracy of all quotes
  • Securing Plan Approvals from Ameritas and Reinsurers
  • Facilitate the appointment of Producers with Ameritas
  • Produce and collect all sold case documents
  • Focus 10 Plan Redesigns
  • Focus 10 Plan ReWrites
• Timely and accurate transition of sold cases to Focus 10 Life Administration
• Focus 10 Life Conversions – provide all support from quoting through policy issue

Experience/Skills Required

• B.S. in Business, Finance, Accounting, Marketing, Actuarial or Math/Statistics
• Thorough understanding of all forms of Life Insurance products
• Expert skills in MS Excel
• Analytical and problem solving skills. Critical thinking.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
• Exhibits a high degree of self-motivation and direction
• Ability to foster a strong sense of cooperation and teamwork throughout the organization
