Summary and Scope

Accountable for account manager to key customers. Be a single point of contact for following customer accounts which have a history of regular business with Polyplex. The primary duty involves generating leads, based on internet research, market research and cold call list. An Inside Sales Specialist will act as a liaison between Customer Service department and Outside Sales department.

Expectations


Account management, customer communication, sample management financial follow up and identifying new business. This position requires 20% of travel.

Responsibilities


  • Environmental Safety Security and Health (ESSH)

Primary contact with customers on payment follow-ups

3. Business Development and Strategy

3.1

Develop sales opportunities by researching and identifying potential accounts consistent with business strategy; soliciting new accounts through inbound lead follow-up, outbound cold calls and emails; building rapport with potential customers.

3.2

Provide effective Technical information/ Application notes to prospective customers

3.3

Identify opportunities for product development & application development. Tracking of all hand sheet samples and trial rolls.

3.4

Managing routine communication with customers so that they never lose sight of Polyplex when making buying decisions

3.5

Develop accounts by checking customer’s buying history; suggesting related and new items. Position Polyplex as the customer’s solution provider

3.6

Sales Forecasting from customers to help production planning

4. Operational Support

4.1

Understanding of the market requirements both technically and commercially

4.2

Allocation of A2 and Imported stock, as well as monitoring of Make/ Hold programs and Consignment programs

4.3

Development and implementation of the overall sales and marketing approach for the focus regions

4.4

Work aggressively to secure new business and product opportunities.

4.5

Research and analyze market trends to include end use applications, requirements, pricing, usage, etc., and provide recommendations based on research and analysis to management on both the short and long-term direction of market trends

4.6

Build strong relationships within the organization with Planning, Manufacturing, R& D and Quality Assurance to insure that the customer’s expectations are being met
