JOB SUMMARY

The Account Executive is responsible for planning, marketing, organizing, and promoting services provided by the company to increase census and territory growth.

POSITION CONDITIONS

High level of community visibility.

Some work outside of normal business hours required.

Public speaking and presentation skills required daily.

Reporting system required, either written or verbal.

Daily travel required.

Position requires a current state driver’s license and auto liability insurance

RESPONSIBILITIES (including but not limited to):

Works and builds relationships with physicians, healthcare staff at community agencies, churches, and community groups.

Develops sales/marketing objectives and sales projections.

Sets weekly goals.

Identifies available market share.

Develops a marketing plan, identifying priorities.

Meets weekly with corporate Business Development manager.

Participates with the interdisciplinary team in developing the plan of care.

Negotiates contracts with outside agencies or services.

QUALIFICATIONS

BS degree preferred.

1(one) year sales/marketing experience, preferably in the healthcare industry. Hospice experience highly preferred.

KNOWLEDGE and ABILITIES

Thorough knowledge and understanding of healthcare, and the ability to teach healthcare concepts and philosophy as required.

Ability to network with other healthcare professionals.
