Job Summary

The role of the SEG Relationship manager is to oversee growth and development for our existing business partners, expand the field of membership in their defined area, provide training, development and coaching opportunities for their business partners, to act as an ambassador, account manager and field representative for Mountain America.

SCHEDULE

Full time; Monday-Friday 9:00 am - 6:00 pm

*Primary are is Salt Lake to Draper, Park City, East of State Street
  • Some weekend and holiday work required
  • Some overnight/weekend and multi day travel required and expected

*Work remote possibilities

To be effective, an individual must be able to perform each job duty successfully.

  • Retains and expand existing SEG relationships.
  • Increases SEG personnel activity and services with Mountain America (new accounts, new loans, product lines, or other services through development plans).
  • Actively solicits new business from existing and potential SEG’s by spending the majority of their time in the field.
  • Coordinates SEG activities and on boarding of new SEG’s with the SEG and multiple functional areas of Mountain America.
  • Discusses customer (SEG) needs, problems, or complaints, provide solutions and arrange meetings between existing and potential SEG’s with representatives of various Mountain America functional areas.
  • Documents sales calls, visits, and results and provide weekly status and other reports to management as required.
  • Compiles and analyze statistics pertinent to a SEG development plan with recommendations or suggestions as appropriate.
  • Assists Branch Managers with SEG marketing activities and contact visits as needed.
  • Assists with SEG new employee orientation and benefit fairs as needed.
  • Represents and participate in various civic and community functions to further enhance Mountain America’s image and develop additional business.
  • Fosters an environment of trust and diplomacy between staff and SEG personnel.
  • Helps identify all SEG’s and top executives as contacts for Branch Administration.
  • Assists with developing and analyzing competitive strategies and services.
  • Assists internal business partners with non SEG related activities as needed.
  • Assists Mountain America team on occasion with new market openings and development.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Experience

Abilities and knowledge usually acquired in three to five years of related work experience.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in business is preferred.

Licenses, Certificates, Registrations

Valid driver’s license with good driving record

Computer/Office Equipment Skills

Advanced skills with Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.

Managerial Responsibility

Has no supervisory/managerial responsibilities

Other Skills and Abilities

Proven abilities in marketing credit union products and services to outside companies and agencies. Ability to develop business and economic growth for the credit union. Must have knowledge and experience in business and economic development. Willingness to work flexible schedule and travel approximately 75-95%.
