The newly renovated Embassy Suites Lynnwood Hotel is seeking an aggressive, innovative and experienced professional Sales Manager to bring our sales team into and beyond a multi-million dollar hotel renovation. Our 240 all-suite hotel has 13,000 square feet of flexible meeting and event space.

If you are looking for an exciting and "Suite" career, we are seeking an energetic, qualified individual to join our dynamic sales team. This management position reports to the Director of Sales and is primarily responsible for managing the BTS – Business Travel Sales segment to achieve guest satisfaction; soliciting past and new business to ensure all revenue goals (room night, average rate, room rental) are achieved or exceeded; maximize revenue by selling all facets of the hotel, handle account details so that all pertinent aspects of solicitation and closing are complete and documented. Travel locally to conduct outside calls, promote the hotel and review competition. Travel out of town to solicit business in feeder cities: prepare information for, meet with, and entertain clients as deemed appropriate to generate potential business from that account, and represent the hotel at trade shows as required.
Required Experience:

  • The ideal candidate must be a self-motivator, have strong organization skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects at once and possess at least two years of experience in the position of hotel a Business Travel Sales Manager.
  • This position requires knowledge of a hotel structure and how departments interact.
  • Basic mathematical and calculator skills to prepare cost proposals.
  • Computer literate in Word and Excel software applications.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with customers in a friendly and positive manner, in order to solicit business, meet client needs and resolve complaints.
  • Ability to listen, speak and write to ascertain and respond to client needs.
  • Hilton Brand experience is a plus.
