  • + Ensures accurate accounting records for receipts and/or disbursements.
    + Prepares financial, statistical, and/or technical reports.
    + Prepares, posts and distributes checks for consumer expenses
    + Prepares, posts and makes deposits of consumer incomes
    + Prepares monthly budgets for consumers
    + Reconciles bank accounts monthly
    + Prepares and distributes monthly consumer financial transaction reports.
    + Prepares Representative Payee forms and Disability Update forms for Social Security Administration
    + Schedules, prepares for, and attends appointments at Social Security Administration to become payee for consumers
    + Prepares for and attends regularly scheduled reviews at Social Security Administration
    + Prepares yearly accountings to the Court for guardians
    + Regularly reports changes and updates to Social Security
    + Assists consumers daily with financial needs via the telephone or face-to-face contact
    + Maintains files of deposits, paid-out invoices, and consumer's personal financial records
    + Maintains Payee waiting list.
    + Provides back-up support and completes specific duties, as trained, for the Administrative Coordinator for Case Management Services.
    + Reports to the Vice President of Case Management. This is a non-supervisory position.

    Minimum Qualifications:
    + High school graduate or its equivalent and two (2) years' experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or secretarial assignments involving advanced record keeping (directly related business school or college courses may be substituted equally for up to six (6) months' experience); OR
    + Any equivalent combination of experience and training that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
    + Must be bondable.
