Responsibilities
Sales Executive, Senior
Sentinel is seeking a motivated individual with government sales experience. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of government accounts and experience cultivating higher end client relationships. With a base salary, bonus plan and no cap commission you have unlimited earning potential!!! We offer full support to our sales staff, which includes Infrastructure Architects, Pre-Sales IT Solution Architects, Administrative Support, and Project Management, to ensure you can focus on what you do best. This position can be based out of Lansing or Metro Detroit.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of and experience in selling to State and local government entities
- 10+ years’ sales experience required
- Experience selling to Director and C-Level Executives
- Prospect for new business within higher Ed and Government
- Demonstrate a successful track record of closing business utilizing a consultative selling approach
- Must be an aggressive self-starter with excellent prospecting, relationship building, and closing skills
- Experience selling Cisco, EMC, Pure, MS, Cloud, Managed services and consulting services a plus.
- A valid driver’s license and proof of vehicle insurance will be required
- Legally authorized to work in the US without sponsorship
- Must be currently working in a similar position
- Must demonstrate a “can-do” attitude
