Sales Representative Job Opening

DPC Enterprises, a manufacturer of bleach and distributor of compressed gases and other water treatment chemicals, with affiliated offices in 16 states, is seeking a Sales Representative for the St. Louis, Missouri territory.

Responsibilities:

• Sells compressed gases, bleach and other water treatment chemicals.
• Compiles lists of prospective customers.
• Travels throughout the assigned territory to call on existing and prospective customers.
• Prepares bid proposals
• Quotes prices and credit terms
• Conducts container surveys
• Monitors container turn rates.
• Entertains customers
• Provides product safety training

Requirements:

• College degree preferred, ideally with courses in chemistry and marketing.
• Two years outside sales experience preferred.
• Skill in oral and written communication.
• Ability to plan, organize work and sell.
• Some overnight travel.
