Our growing business is an_ Outside Sales Representative_ to increase sales in our Midwestern United States territory. The successful candidate will be responsible for establishing contact with existing customers, identifying new opportunities, and following up on potential leads. The Outside Sales Representative will also monitor industry trends in order to identify emerging markets and develop plans to utilize those markets to expand revenue._ If you have prior experience in outside sales and a desire to expand your career, we want to hear from you!!!_

Scott Electric has a current opening in our Greensburg, PA branch for an Outside Salesperson (Industrial Division):

This position services a wide range of customers with Electrical needs. In this position you will be responsible for servicing Industrial Accounts. The Industrial Division works closely with manufacturing, maintenance, repair and commercial customers. .Other responsibilities may be assigned as needed.

In this position, you will meet face-to-face and over the phone with a wide range of customers and would serve a customer base of commercial customers in the greater PA area.

This is a commissioned sales position with unlimited earnings potential.

Selected candidate will service existing account and pursue new accounts.

Qualifications:

  • Excellent Communication Skills. Strong Phone, Interpersonal, Verbal, and Written Skills
  • Sales Experience with Excellent Customer Services Skills
  • Basic Knowledge of Electrical Products
  • Energetic Detail Oriented, able to Multitask
  • Strong Ethics and able to work independently or collaborative team member
  • Proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel
  • Must pass background and drug screen
  • Generate sales reports each week and submitting them to management
  • Utilize all available resources to reach out to prospects and attempt to turn those prospects into customers
  • Collaborate with the management team to improve marketing materials and expand the company’s marketing presence in the Midwestern territory
  • Attend industry trade shows to accumulate new leads and make productive contact with existing clients
  • Update client information in the company contact database
  • Stay on top of industry trends to identify potential opportunities for company growth
