• Idaho Falls, IdahoSUMMARY OF JOB PURPOSE:
As a store inventory auditor, you are primarily responsible for maintaining inventory through on-site physical inventory counts and the reconciling of discrepancies that are found. We are looking for a self-motivated person who enjoys working in a dynamic environment.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: (Position may include additional functions not listed.)*
- Conduct and complete monthly physical inventory counts at different locations within the region.
- Performs special projects as directed by management.
- Demonstrate a professional attitude, conduct and appearance.
- Verify and analyze results of physical inventory counts.
- Conduct and complete classification in all store locations in the region.
- Report inventory findings and activity along with recommendations to management.
- Investigate inventory overages and shortages.
- Locate hard to find parts as directed by management.
- Work with store, regional, and operations manager on return stock orders to the distribution center.
- Work with store, regional, and operations manager to protect and maintain company assets.
- Helps with and promotes overall cleanliness of the stockroom and store.
- Perform other assignments and duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS: (Required knowledge, skills, abilities, education, experience, etc.)
- Valid Driver’s License required. Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) must meet driving requirements set by Dyna Parts.
- Excellent problem solving and investigatory skills.
- High school diploma, or equivalent, preferred.
- Capable of operating TAMS point-of-sale system and cataloging.
- Capable of recognizing and distinguishing letters and numbers (both visually and aurally) and remembering their sequence.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy as well as ability to multi-task and is self-motivated.
PHYSICAL & OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
- Capable of lifting and moving merchandise of up to 60 pounds.
- Ability to move engine blocks, core barrels, and other heavy equipment using moving aids designed to move such items, including hand trucks, barrel dollies, hydraulic lifts, etc.
- Ability to bend or stoop to floor-level shelves and be able to reach upper shelves (eight feet) with use of stool or ladder when necessary.
- Ability to stand and walk for entire work shift.
- Ability to speak clearly and listen attentively.
