T&D Sales Specialist

Siemens Energy Inc. is currently searching for a sales team member to be based in Atlanta, Georgia. As part of the Transmission & Distribution sales team you will have an exciting opportunity to work with one of the largest Investor owned Utility in the US to leverage and sale a large breadth of offerings, from smart grid applications to state-of-the art transmission and distribution solutions. Responsibilities
  • Provide T&D products and solutions sales coverage for the Southeast region.
  • Develop and implement Siemens strategic efforts within the Region
  • Account Southern Company

Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree in engineering or business related field
  • 10+ years of industry-related experience in Transmission & Distribution products, marketing
  • and/or factory experience.
  • 10+ years of marketing/sales experience
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, leadership, and multi-tasking skills
  • Ability to listen to clients, extrapolate relevant data, and generate a winning strategy
  • Ability to effectively communicate and lead this defined strategy internally with multiple product lines in support of proposal responses and contract negotiations.
  • Ability to travel 40-50% both domestically to customers and internationally to manufacturing locations in locations such as Mexico, Brazil, Germany, or Italy
  • Flexibility in schedule needed to attend some evenings and/or weekend for customer events.
