Summary

Edwards Auto Group is seeking a hardworking, highly motivated Sales Associate to join our growing team. Our Sales Associates operate with a consultative approach and are committed to creating a great buying AND ownership experience for our clientele.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers upon arrival to the lot and guide prospects through the sales process.
• Assist customers to find a vehicle that meets their needs by using the current inventory sheets.
• Enhance the customer experience and advance sales process by demonstrating the vehicle features on the lot
• Assist customers in the completion of their sales applications
• Assist management to increase sales by inspecting the lot’s vehicles daily reporting any problems to the General Manager
• Assist management in ensuring the lot is merchandised correctly to maximize sales

Qualifications

• Enthusiastic demeanor with high energy throughout the sales workday
• Outgoing and friendly personality, especially while handling objections
• Persistent, competitive and possesses a strong work ethic
• Delivers high quality customer service skills
• Previous sales experience with proven track record of success
• Strong interpersonal and communications skills in person and over the phone
• Persuasive and able to overcome customer objections during the sales process
• Proficient in basic business math including percentages
• Capable of learning and using Microsoft Office applications (including but not limited to Outlook, Word, and Excel), accounting software, and other proprietary sales programs
• Focuses on the customer’s needs to enhance dealership and personal sales
• Assist in cleaning and washing vehicles
• Other duties as required
