The ideal candidate will have a background selling networking products in the Data Center to a mixture of mid-range accounts, large sized organizations and/or local government / education. A strong rolodex is a big plus. Arista appeals very strongly to engineering-centric organizations and a strong technical acumen has proven to be highly valuable. This role provides a lot of latitude to shape your own territory and an independent, self-starter with initiative tends to flourish at Arista.
Responsibilities:
- Achieve sales objectives within the territory using a variety of sales techniques
- Identify key account targets
- Arrange meetings with potential clients
- Work with sales engineers to design and position effective Arista solutions
- Establish and manage key channel relationships in your territory
- Establish and manage key ecosystem relationship in your territory
- Conduct demand generation events
- Attend relevant industry events and conferences to build business
- Work closely with other territory and named account managers
- Put together sales strategies to target large accounts
- Keep up to date with industry competitors and competitive strategies
Requirements:
- Previous experience working as a territory account manager
- Relevant industry background from a competitor or channel partner
- Good rolodex and relationships within the territory
- Excellent people skills and ability to build relationships at all levels
- Proven track record of building business and hitting or exceeding sales targets
- Solid technical acumen in networking
- Experience selling to the data center
