Job Overview:
As a Territory Manager, you will be responsible for owning your geographic area as if it were your own business. The territory comes equipped with a large book of accounts to service immediately. Our 5 major product groups of exterior building products ensures a large pipeline of potential customers to target. With an assigned Inside Sales Representative to help service your accounts at the branch, you have the time and freedom to develop new business.
Our Territory Managers compete daily to be the best by taking a consultative approach and cultivating relationship continuity within their territory. On a daily basis, they strive to have 10-12 impactful (in-person) interactions with decision makers (existing accounts or prospects). At Wimsatt, you will face no internal competition in your territory and the financial reward will never be capped.
Ideal candidates will possess:
- 3+ years of B2B (business to business) sales experience
- 2+ years of Outside sales (in the field) experience
- Professional image maintained constantly in appearance and written and verbal communication.
- Strong work ethic and desire to exceed internal and external expectations
- Customer-centric focus and desire to provide an unparalleled customer experience
- Excellent organizational and follow up skills
Preferred candidates will possess (in addition to the above):
- Prior building material experience/knowledge background
- Bachelor’s degree
- History of continuous improvement in sales year over year
Additional Information:
- The territory is Jackson, MI area
- Salaried position
- Responsibility to be present in the branch every other Saturday
- Base salary plus commission (would be discussed during phone screening with Wimsatt)
