Inside Sales Representative Job Opening

Intermountain Specialty Gases (ISG) is seeking an Inside Sales professional to join our growing company. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual looking to start or advance their career. ISG is a family owned business. We’ve been in business since 1992. ISG’s customers are in the Safety and Supply Industry. This includes Oil and Gas, Mining, Manufacturing and First Responders. ISG manufactures calibration gases that calibrate handheld gas monitors to help protect workers from unsafe environments. Our customers are located in the United States and Canada. We do have some customers Worldwide. ISG’s most recent accomplishment was being approved by the Department of Transportation to produce ethanol mixes that are used for Breath Alcohol devices and Interlock devices.

Primary Responsibilities

• Take inbound calls and emails to assist customers with product sales and/or questions.
• Enter orders into computer system with an emphasis on accuracy; making sure to follow company and product procedures/specifications.
• Monitor open orders (purchase & sales orders) and shipment dates to ensure timely delivery as well as expedite as needed to achieve service level goals.
• Be a liaison between production and the front office.
• No sales skills, no problem. We are willing to train. You must be willing to learn.
• Prospect and cold call industry related opportunities.
• Possible travel 1-2 times per year to help at tradeshows.
• Hunt to set up conference calls so our company may quote on new projects.
• Web searches to find new leads and opportunities.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $15.00 to $16.00 /hour
