Zions Bank is now accepting resumes for our Assistant Manager position. Under the direction of the Branch Manger the ideal candidates for this position will have the skills and experience necessary to:
- Assist in achieving branch strategic goals through their own production, as well as the oversight of inside sales and service
- Personal production to include identifying and addressing client needs and providing solutions which include new accounts, consumer loans, performing client service issues, and responding to more complex client complaints and questions
- Make appropriate referrals for other bank products and services, including commercial lending products
- Ensure Tellers are properly trained and able to refer prospects/clients to other bank products and services
- Provide sales leadership for the tellers in the Branch, which includes overseeing both the inside and outside sales efforts of those employees
- Be responsible for coaching, mentoring and monitoring service levels of tellers within the Branch.
- Work closely with Regional President in order to achieve sales and service objectives while maintaining operational integrity
- Be responsible for hiring, coaching and discipline decisions in partnership with Branch Manager
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Requires an associate's degree or equivalent
- 1+ years of retail banking/management, sales, new accounts, customer service, loan processes or other directly related experience
- A combination of education and experience may meet requirements
- Knowledge of the banking industry, processes, procedures, regulations and products
- Knowledge of lending process and procedures
- Strong customer service, relationships building, sales and management skills
- Ability to handle various client concerns and problems
- Must have good communication skills, both verbal and written
- Knowledge of computer programs, i.e. word processing, spreadsheets etc.
