Basic Purpose and Objective of the Position
Provide customer communications and support from quote to delivery process for both internal and external customers. Is required to assist with quotes, , orders, returns, account questions, billing, errors, cancellations, customer feedback, CRM documentation and other queries related to customers.

- Process quotations for customer requirements in a timely manner by utilizing computerized pricing, and resources defined by the Quality Management System [QMS] and supported by other functions within the company.
- Enter new orders including all necessary information to be routed with the purchase order. This includes up to date prints, product specifications, quality specifications, and quoted prices on necessary components. Orders are to be entered the same day the PO arrives from the customer.
- Provide customer service to internal and external customers on existing orders, contracts, and supply agreements by providing updated blanket order information, forecasting and scheduling releases, processing expedites, and answering questions where the information is readily available and accurate within one business day of the inquiry.
- Provide customer service to internal and external customers on potential and existing orders by either answering the request if the information is available during that call or email, or passing the information to the appropriate Account Executive or Key Account Manager assigned to that account so they may pursue an opportunity to sell including documenting the “pass” of information in the CRM system within one day of the inquiry.
- Assist with special projects involving unique applications, quotations, engineering contact and coordination. This involvement should include presentation of application in weekly meetings and through the use of CRM.
- Collect and report via CRM and verbally, significant information to the Customer Service Manager that may affect account specific and/or corporate goals. Includes specific customer information, competitive activity, market and industry trends and changes, technology innovations, new applications, corporate image and specific needs required to support respective markets and/or specific customers.
- Actively participate in customer service, sales, and marketing meetings as well as various training activities.
- Maintain a CRM database inclusive of customer contacts, call reports, opportunity details, and specific project/sales pipeline information
- Perform other duties as required.
Qualifications
Education and Experience
- Associates degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum of 1 year customer service or inside sales experience selling into large multi-national OEM’s in highly regulated markets with long selling cycles.
- Proficient in a systematic approach to customer service, resulting in revenue growth and higher customer satisfaction rating based on net promoter scores.
