• Plymouth, MinnesotaThe Inside Sales Representative is responsible for supporting business development efforts of outside sales team(s) through qualified lead generation efforts which include connecting via phone, email or social with prospects, gaining information on prospects current technology needs, providing information on Comm-Works services and establishing next steps to discuss business solutions/opportunities. The Inside Sales Rep is directly responsible for BANT (Budget, Authority, Need, and Timing) qualifying opportunities that are ready for the Outside Sales to close. This sales position is a hunter role, spending 90% of the workday on phone, email, and business social networks. Inside Sales representatives are eligible for commissions and bonuses.
Position Responsibilities:
- Conduct highly researched and aligned warm calling to prospects on our segmented target market list.
- Follow-up on and BANT qualify inbound marketing leads.
- Seek referrals to articulate the value of Comm-Works' services.
- Prospect calls and emails for campaign follow-ups and inbound inquiries.
- Achieve monthly and daily goals:
- 25 Highly researched and aligned calls per day to our top 100 segmented target market list. The 25 is more of a basis, meant to go up or down based on the productivity and discussions of the day.
- 8 Meetings per Month (phone and F2F) Ensure agenda is established prior. All information notes post meeting need to be entered into CRM. This is another baseline requirement as in many cases you will need to have a meeting to be able to qualify an SQL/Opportunity.
- 4 Qualified Opportunities per month, with a focus on Comm-Works' TAM list and inbound leads.
- Utilize resources such as LinkedIn, Technology publications, and Industry subscriptions to uncover the appropriate Decision Maker(s).
- Document all activity in CRM.
- Ability to transfer solid leads to the appropriate sales person for follow-up and a formal sales presentation.
- Maintain strong relationships with assigned Outside Business Development team members through clear communication and follow-up.
- Research companies' upcoming initiatives and needs.
- Stay current on industry trends and maintain extensive knowledge of competitor's product offerings.
- Log and maintain accurate information in CRM including but not limited to: calls, meetings, appointments, social media interactions, emails, notes, contact details, opportunity details, and account details.
- Prep for and conduct meetings with an established agenda and an Outside Sales Rep or Outside Sales Rep team.
Required Education, Skills & Experience:
- One year of sales experience prospecting required, experience in a business to business model required
- Bachelor's Degree in business/industry related field or equivalent (preferred).
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; Microsoft Dynamics CRM or Salesforce.com.
Preferred Education, Skills & Experience:
- Understanding of how to leverage LinkedIn in social selling.
- Exceptional organizational skills and high energy.
- Ability to provide online product demonstrations.
- Must be able to ask probing questions and gather information/research
- Must be ambitious, persistent, and consistent
- Ability to focus on a goal and achieve that goal
