On Premise Area Sales Manager
Description:
The On Premise Area Sales Manager is responsible for leading, directing and controlling the sales, merchandising and activities within all assigned accounts.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Promote the sales of GDC products through personal selling efforts and regular contacts with individual accounts, chain stores and large retailers.
- Continually direct and monitor the Salespersons in the areas of marketing plan goals, sales, new placements, distribution, rotation, code dates, pricing, POS, promotions and develop our draft beer portfolio.
- Assist the Sales Manager in the development, implementation, and success of incentive programs that support and improve the sales of GDC.
- Implement route re-alignments that are necessary to improve customer service.
- Make sales calls on key accounts to ensure close working relationships with owners and managers.
- Conduct Power Coaching ride with to train team on all aspects of their assigned duties.
- Review and adjust daily (if necessary) the work assignments of the Merchandisers.
- All other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Self-starter with the ability to manage others efficiently and effectively
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
- Strong attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills
- Schedule flexibility to include evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
