Position Overview:
The Government Sales Executive for the Latin America and Caribbean will have the opportunity to drive the next phase of Entrust Datacard growth in Latin America and the Caribbean.

The Government Sales Executive will be a “hands-on” individual who excels in achieving growth targets, managing a pipeline of new businesses, and maintaining key relationships.

The selected candidate will be responsible for developing and executing a territory-wide sale and business development plan that will be measured against revenue and profit goals and targeted pipeline.

The Government Sales Executive will have access to a broad portfolio of physical and digital identity and security software solutions into government and public sectors marketplace to meet the goals.

Responsibilities:
Customer Facing – Account Engagement & Selling 65%
Key Actions/Activities
  • Act as region-selling expert for the government solutions segment, partnering within the organization to bring competitive knowledge and solution industry expertise for government solutions sale opportunities.
  • Directly participate in account planning as well as specific opportunity planning with regard to government solutions, and execute against that plan.
  • Develop relationships with appropriate decision makers within targeted accounts and maintain close understanding of customer’s profile and evolution in order to influence strategies related to product development and in pursuit of defined opportunities. Maintain relationships with current channels and/or integrators or develop new relationships with channels and/or integrators.
  • Drive and close direct sales – Fully accountable for achievement of quarterly and annual commitment.
Organizational Engagement 25%
Key Actions/Activities
  • Stay abreast of new product or capabilities development that can impact or benefit the sales of government solutions.
  • Participate in proposal development
  • Work cooperatively with Technical Sales Consultants in the development of business impact modeling tools
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of competitive offerings within marketplace
  • Provide competitive account and market intelligence as well as voice of the customer information to product marketing and management, and help define market requirements to product marketing in support of future solution road mapping
  • Leverage impeccable forecasting and financial planning solutions through timely and comprehensive use of the CRM system and other reports/tools available for accurate pipeline build-up and planning purposes.
  • Create annual/quarterly business plans and reviews to ensure performance against plan and strategic imperatives
  • Accurately forecast orders and manage funnel of opportunities
Leadership 10%

  • Build strong and open cross-functional relationships with superiors, peers and team to coordinate resources
  • May act as escalation point to resolve complex issues
  • Recommend and implement process improvements
  • Contribute to product strategic development

Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in business to business sales capacity
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in government general sales or business management
  • Successful track record of developing sales, service, bid management and solutions delivery in Federal government programs, and executing effectively against those plans
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with customers, partner and colleagues.
  • Fluent written and spoken Spanish required, Portuguese fluency desirable.
  • Must be able to lawfully work within the US and have unrestricted work authorization for US
  • Travel Requirements: Minimum of 60%, mostly international travel.

  • Demonstrated achievement in exceeding quota and revenue targets
  • Proven consultative selling abilities
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively work and influence across an organization
