Job Development Specialist Job Opening

Alaska Family Services, Inc. currently has a full time opening with benefits for a Job Development Specialist for our Work Services Program in Wasilla. Responsibilities: Supervisory position to provide program education and outreach to the Employment Community with a focus on creating and maintaining professional relationships with businesses and securing applicable work placement sites for program participants. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Education, Human Services or related field and two years successful work experience in job development, employment counseling, workshop facilitation, and/or job seeking skill training and motivation. Preferred Qualifications: Two years of successful supervisory experience in job development, employment counseling, workshop facilitation, and/or job seeking skill training and motivation.
