POSITION SUMMARY:
This is an incredibly exciting opportunity to be a part of the launch effort of innovative breakthrough treatments for Cystic Fibrosis (CF).
The Key Account Manager (KAM) will be responsible for ensuring that all barriers to usage of our rare disease medicines are addressed and that all patients who could benefit from the products have access to them. This goal will be achieved by the development and execution of specific account level business plans at all CF centres; communicating disease and product knowledge to healthcare professional customers and ensuring that the full long-term value of the products are fully understood by all relevant stakeholders.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Account management (80% of time):
- Interact with wide variety of key stakeholders in Norway and Finland

Responsible for developing and executing account level business plans that are insight driven and will move the business forward, including:
- Promote safe and effective use of our portfolio of CF drugs, in accordance with the product labels to ensure that the benefits and long-term value of the products are fully understood
- Stay current on the CF environment; maintain in-depth knowledge of disease, local drivers, treatment and referral patterns, key account profiles, influence patterns, reimbursement, and barriers to optimal care
- Facilitate the coordination of internal and external resources to enhance patient care and ensure delivery of account plan targets
- Work collaboratively across functional areas to achieve common goals

Marketing support (20% of time):
- Work with marketing lead to create and execute marketing plans

- Participate in meetings, and take on projects, as requested by management
- Exercises sound judgment and adheres to relevant regulatory and compliance guidelines and company policies
Qualification:
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:- Field experience in biotech/pharmaceuticals industry
- Rare disease or specialty medicine experience preferred
- Product launch experience highly desired
- Demonstrates passion for improving CF patient care delivery and strong customer orientation and insight
- Demonstrate active listening skills as a springboard for creating relevant value to customers and key CF stakeholders
- Ability to be in command of scientific data and to communicate it effectively to different audiences (e.g., CF physician, hospital director, regional payer)
- Project management experience
- Significant knowledge of local funding and decision making at the center, hospital and regional levels
- Strong understanding of healthcare regulatory and enforcement environments
- Demonstrates team-based skills and is able to network across boundaries
- Embraces and adopts new technologies and techniques
- Highly competent in a multitude of IT capabilities to support the business needs
- Excellent contextual selling skills with proven record of performance (consistently in the top 10% of sales force)
- Embraces continuous learning/seeks knowledge
- Strong verbal and written communication skills; fluent in Norwegian and English
- Valid driver’s license and in good standing
- Ability to travel up to 70%
