The Lead Development Representative (LDR) will play a critical role as we continue to build out our sales engine to support our fast-growing business. The primary focus is to drive outbound efforts to identify net new accounts, opportunities, and revenue. You will work closely with sales to support campaigns, manage the lead flow, qualify buying interest, and cultivate opportunity in accounts. The LDR often has the initial (and therefore most important) opportunity to make an impression on a prospect. You will be responsible for ensuring a positive experience that will set the stage for effective sales follow-up. Driving excitement, creativity, and relationship building into every customer call is crucial. A successful candidate will be a self-starter, with a high-energy, positive phone presence, and a track record of effective, credible lead follow-up and sales development at multiple levels within an organization.

Responsibilities

  • 90% phones, plus a few emails to establish demo appointments for sales representatives
  • Coordinate appointments with sales representatives
  • Use spreadsheet/database/CRM to track progress
  • Conduct email campaigns to prospects as developed

Qualifications

  • Personable, dynamic, energetic and ambitious, able to establish quick relationships
  • Organized person with strong time management skills
  • Computer skills (Microsoft Office, SalesForce, etc.).
  • Tenacious follow up and strong work ethic
  • Inside Sales experience helpful but not required
  • Professional phone presence
  • Strong business acumen and negotiation skills. Focus on a win-win strategy
  • Numbers driven and analytical
  • Independent self-starter that can manage your schedule on a daily basis to meet the changing workflow requirements
  • Adaptable – willing to adjust to change as necessary
  • Technology savvy and should be able to conduct technology demos and training, if necessary
