Account Manager

Job Description:
We are looking for a passionate Account Manager who will partner with and ensure the long-term success of our customers.

Account management responsibilities include developing long-term relationships with your portfolio of assigned customers. Accounts managers will liaise between customers and cross-functional internal teams to ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs.

Key Responsibilities:
Operate as the lead point of contact for any and all matters specific to your customers

Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships

Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs and objectives

Forecast and track key account metrics

Communicate clearly the progress of monthly/quarterly results

Responsible for overall results for the customer accounts you manage

Requirements :
Proven account management or other relevant experience

Demonstrated the ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization, including executive and C-level

Experience in delivering client-focused solutions based on customer needs

Proven ability to manage multiple projects at a time while paying strict attention to detail

Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Daily Responsibilities:
Responsible for achieving monthly, quarterly and annual goals.

Responsible for estimating all lead opportunities less than $30,000 and less than 160 labor hours

If the estimated contract value and estimated labor hours are projected to exceed $30,000 and 160 hours, respectively, the managed service division will be responsible for estimating the project and returning the bid sheet and SOW within the agreed upon due date.

Example

1 Door – 12 to 16 Direct Labor Hours

1 Camera – 4 to 6 Direct Labor Hours

1 Data Drop – 1.5 to 2.5 Direct Labor Hours

Exclusions – Estimate and SOW to be completed by managed services division

Responsible for providing the managed service division with an adequate amount of time to prepare estimate and SOW.

Responsible for the professionalism of proposals being sent to customers.

Responsible for estimating change orders, entering change orders into the Knack Application, and communicating change orders with your customers.

Responsible for communicating sold jobs with your Operations Director and or Project Manager. This includes clearly communicating the SOW, schedule, and customer expectations for all jobs sold.

Responsible for coordinating and communicating with your customers, Director of Operations, and Project Managers.

The project manager will be responsible for reviewing jobs with Account Managers, order placement, scheduling work based on parameters set forth by Account Managers, communicating progress and completion of jobs to the Account Manager, communicate staffing requirements with other project superintendents.

The managed service department will be responsible for preparing service & support agreements (maintenance agreements).

Upon job closeout, the Account Manager will be responsible for documenting materials installed in Knack.

Responsible for maintaining and keeping the Sales CRM, Knack, up-to-date at all times.

Responsible for submitting billing to the accounting department in a timely manner

Bi-Weekly Meeting:
Every two weeks the account managers, COO, and managed services will meet to discuss pending sales leads, projected close dates, and bid due dates, the status of all open jobs, staffing requirements, and sales metrics listed below.
