Special Touch Restoration is a disaster restoration company that specializes in the clean up of Fire, Water, Mold or Trauma disaster. We mostly work when there is an insurance claim so building relationships in the insurance industry is paramount. Special Touch Restoration has been located in South Alabama for 25 years and we are now opening a new office in North Alabama so this is a ground floor opportunity with a proven company.

Role and Responsibilities

The Account Manager is responsible for growing sales in the North Alabama territory. He/she will be responsible for prospecting and building relationships with potential clients, selling our services by establishing and maintaining effective contact with potential clients, cross-selling to and renewing existing customer contracts and developing relationships with partners to help expand the Special Touch Restoration business. The Account Manager’s success will primarily be measured by new customer acquisition and execution of new contracts, and his/her variable compensation will be measured primarily against goals aligned to those results. The Account Manger will be responsible for managing client relationships to ensure that we retain, renew and expand our relationships with existing clients. The Account Manager will also be responsible for supporting corporate activities, including but not limited to; hosting customers in the office for briefings and tours, trade show activities and supporting marketing efforts. The Account Manager will collaborate with company executives, sales and marketing team members and other departments to ensure that the efforts of the organization are aligned. The Account Manager will be responsible for many duties for Special Touch Restoration including but not limited to:

  • Developing, executing and tracking a territory plan
  • Developing and executing a key account strategy as a primary component of his/her territory plan
  • Updating activity, pipeline development and opportunities in CRM
  • Proactively reaching out to prospects via phone, email, social media and in person
  • Working with marketing to create outreach campaigns to attract new clients
  • Researching potential clients to understand their business, key initiatives and to uncover the appropriate stakeholders for us to engage with
  • Supporting company events, trade shows and industry events
  • Assist in the development of marketing collateral and assets including; web content, whitepapers, FAQ’s, video creation, presentations and sales demonstrations.
  • Most of all must be a team player and willing to learn and assist in other areas

Background Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience is preferred
  • Minimum 2 years field sales experience including proactive business development activity is preferred
  • Experience in IT/Technology field is preferred
  • Experience calling on federal agencies/government contractors in North Alabama is preferred
  • Experience leveraging social media in a professional capacity is preferred
  • Proficient with key software packages including, Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
