As a Branch Supervisor at Crescent, your responsibilities include: recruiting, leadership, motivation, direction and training of branch team so they are able to serve customers effectively and profitably. You will oversee overall branch operations and growth including inventories and safeguarding branch assets.

You will know you are a match to this position if you are a team-player with strong negotiation, communication, presentation, interpersonal, and problem solving skills. Previous experience implementing sales strategies and managing income statements/balance sheets (profit & loss) required.

Primary Duties:
  • Direct and coordinate sales efforts within assigned branch. Assist with account development. Make support calls on customers as necessary.
  • Manage the performance of all direct reports. This includes setting goals and objectives, measuring and evaluating employee performance and communicating performance feedback on a formal and informal basis.
  • Oversee branch pricing, quotations, contract review, purchasing, and warehousing activities and/or other staff who are responsible for these functions or areas.
  • Ensure Crescent's Business System standard processes are installed and executed at branch.
  • Supervisory Responsibilities include: training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; rewarding, disciplining and evaluating employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; and three to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Valid driver's license and flexibility to travel.
  • Knowledge of all functional areas in the wholesale electrical distribution industry.
  • Comprehensive PC skills (i.e., Microsoft Word, Excel, Eclipse, and Microsoft Outlook products).
