Position Overview

Perficut is looking for the right candidate to add to its Sales and Account Management team. Are you ready to work for an organization where growth happens? Our Sales team is the driving force behind our strategy to be the premier maintenance, landscape, snow and ice-removal company in the region! This position is accountable for managing a set of existing accounts and nurturing customer relationships to ensure we are consistently providing the highest level of quality service. Your goal is to make sure we’re meeting and exceeding client expectations, and that we’re adding needed or recommended services to an already-successful portfolio.

Day-to-Day Stuff

  • Serve as a resource to address any gaps between customer expectations and delivery of services; primary point of contact for assigned book of business
  • Build and maintain strong, lasting customer relationships through frequent contact, outstanding negotiation and consistently exceeding customer expectations; purposefully develop a network of key businesses, influential executives and other stakeholders
  • Effectively communicate the Perficut story, business approach and the value proposition, with focus on the benefits and expected outcomes
  • Year-round oversight of assigned clients; focus on up-sell opportunities throughout the year, including snow and ice removal
  • Generate portfolio-enriching sales that supports Perficut’s growth strategy, using up-selling and cross-selling techniques; collaborate with sales team to ensure growth and client retention
  • Consistently and accurately uses the CRM, in accordance with process expectations
  • Interact and coordinate with production staff members in various departments to convey client expectations and site challenges
  • Assertive and proactive coordination and communication with production staff to ensure the timely and successful delivery of Perficut solutions, balancing customer needs and company goals
  • Year-round site management of an assigned client portfolio, including snow and ice management duties, as required
  • Establish budgets with the client and company
  • Achieve individual and team sales targets
  • Prepare documentation related to annual sales forecasts
  • Clearly communicate the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal team members and external clients
  • Meet deadlines and expectations expressed by manager
  • Other duties, as assigned

Characteristics Needed to Succeed

  • Highly motivated; entrepreneurial spirit
  • Outstanding organizational, time-management, prioritization and follow-up skills
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, CRM)
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal; ability to build relationships, infuse trust, engage others in conversation and defuse challenging situations
  • Effective listening, negotiation, collaboration and presentation skills
  • Personal flexibility to meet client and business expectations, sometimes outside regular business hours (especially during the snow and ice removal season, when overnight and weekend hours are typical)
  • Valid/eligible Driver’s License
  • Consistent and effective sales approach
  • Familiar with landscape maintenance, landscape construction, snow and ice management or similar trades
  • Proven ability to effectively manage time and consistently meet deadlines

Work Environment

While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be expected to work outside in all types of weather conditions; conditions include occasional extreme heat exposure due to natural climate. The noise level in the work environment can be loud; vibration levels are moderate.
