Matrix Absence Management is one of the top Third Party Administrators (TPA) supporting clients in absence management Compensation). We partner with our clients Human Resources department to manage Workers' Compensation, Disability and/or Leave of absences until the claim is resolved or the employee returns to work. Our highly customer centric approach is to try and duplicate the culture of our clients to make the experience seamless for employees. Our mobile app technology provides ease of use to our client and employee in reporting claim information.

Position Summary

The Workers Compensation Sales Executive is responsible for securing new business to develop the market beyond its current status and ensure growth. In addition, the Workers' Compensation Sales Executive will meet profitable growth, cross-selling opportunities and achieve retention objectives, while developing long term client management strategies for clients in assigned territory year over year.

Essential Functions & Qualifications

  • Achieving growth and retention targets by identifying cross-selling opportunities and ensuring client satisfaction.
  • Proven sales new business development sales skills
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong Producer relationships.
  • Leverage existing relationships to find new ways to service our client's business needs
  • Attending industry conferences; leverage broker and client relationships to identify new opportunities and competitive intelligence.
  • Resolve customer issues: Collaborates with national account team members and operational support areas on more complex product or service issues to ensure client's needs are met.
  • Offers creative product and service solutions to address client and market evolving needs.
  • Grow business by meeting and exceeding Performance Competencies
  • Extensive knowledge of company products and services
  • Develop and deliver strategic sales presentations for optimum growth
  • Assess market competition in product offering and pricing

Education, Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree, or equivalent work experience, required
  • Proven track record of success for at least five years of Sales & Account Management
  • Minimum of two years of Sales & Strategy development, preferred.
  • Extensive knowledge of Workers' Compensation programs, required.
  • Knowledge of Auto/General Liability and Disability programs
  • Proficient in use of Microsoft Office suite (MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook)
  • Excellent analytical and interpretive skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication, including presentation skills
  • Travel, as required, based on the assigned geographic book of business
