Job Summary:

Responsible for revenue growth of the company by building deep, long-lasting industry relationships, whereby influencers and decision makers will refer or utilize AIR for services.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain assigned and earned accounts and be responsible for revenue contribution to the business. All behaviors are in alignment with the company core values.
  • Collaborate on marketing strategies & events
  • Participate in a targeted territory management plan
  • Help build pricing and service plans for new lines of business.
  • Collaborate with Operations and Finance
  • Participate in different market related associations and trade show events
  • Determine annual unit gross revenue plans.
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge
  • Propose content for various vertical RFQ (Request for Qualifications) and RFP (Request for Proposal)
  • Ensure sales revenue targets are delivered with accuracy
  • Establish continuous contact with customers and the industry, in order to communicate trends and determine ongoing customer requirements, and identify/invent new opportunities to serve the market.
  • Other duties as may be assigned from time to time by supervisor/management.

Preferred Requirements:

  • Education:
  • College degree or certification in selling, marketing, branding disciplines is a plus. *
  • Work Experience: 5+ years in a commission-based sales environment desired. 5+ years in roles of increasing responsibility.
  • Minimal overnight travel required (< 10%); This is a field sales position covering CT, MA, RI, but the position will require periodic overnight travel as weather or travel logistics dictate. Some benchmarking, associations and conferences requiring attendance may be national/regional in scope and thus not occurring in our direct market area.
