Full Time Merchandiser

Reports to: Division Manager
Location: Various
Schedule: Tuesday-Saturday 9am-6pm
Hourly Rate: $13/hour

Purpose of Position
The Full Time Merchandiser (FTM) will ensure in-store merchandising standards are being followed, follow corporate policies, implement best-practice procedures, follow warehouse/logistics methods, and corporate/vendor requirements. The position is responsible for ensuring tools that are utilized and available for implementing sales goals are in place and ready for use, while servicing each area of the store. Merchandisers properly rotate all product while filling every location to its capacity with back stock. The FTM will interact with store managers respectfully and will check in with each store when arriving and leaving. When at the warehouse the FTM is responsible for loading sales vehicles and will ensuring that the company’s facilities, vehicles and other assets are properly cared for.

Key Accountabilities

Merchandise
? Identify and service all locations in the account ranging from displays, warm shelves, cold shelves, racks, barrels, and coolers.
? Stock, rotate, face all product forward, clean, insure there is pricing, and fill up all displays.
? Help build and maintain the relationship with decision makers and staff in each account
? Fill out paperwork and take surveys documenting the visit before leaving the store
Warehouse Support
? Load all trucks and vehicles accurately Tuesday through Friday
? Count and verify all vehicles that return to the warehouse
? Help establish most effective loading procedures
? Ensure warehouse accuracy is maintained
? Repack product as needed
? Build displays

Special Projects
? Assist in delivering coolers and displays as needed
? Holiday route help as needed.

General Responsibilities
  • Follow a daily tasks list
  • Check in Sales Reps as they return
  • Load and unload product and sales materials to and from designated storage areas, such as racks and shelves, or vehicles
  • Manage daily inventory of product
  • Perform general warehouse duties including cleaning and organization
  • Operate a forklift after completing a training program
  • Secure the building and all assets before leaving.
Requirements:
Qualifications:
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills and enthusiasm.
  • Excellent organizational and self-management skills; self-starter.
  • Ability to work well within a team environment
  • Aggressive and energetic yet personable and approachable demeanor.
  • Current driver's license with clean driving record.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Must be able to lift 25 pounds over your head.
  • Reach with hands and arms.
  • Speak, hear and understand instructions.
  • Frequently transition between walking and sitting.
  • Occasionally stand and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
  • Use specific vision abilities including: close vision, distance vision, depth perception and focus adjustment
  • Work with or near moving mechanical parts, moderate to loud noise, outside weather conditions and/or extreme temperatures
  • Must be able to work in a flexible and rapidly changing environment.
