Reports to: VP of Sales
Function: Responsible for personnel, results and growth of your Region and building a team that achieves the Vision of APEX in a way that is consistent with the APEX Mission and core values. – “Lead By Example”
LEADERSHIP - You set the example for your Team
- Team Leader Development –
- Develop leaders that understand and buy in to the Vision, Mission and Core Values of APEX
- Encourage and expect your Team Leaders to BE THE BEST.
- Invest personally in Team Leaders through practicing GPS and sales skills, observing, teaching, coaching and showing them “how to”
- Have HIGH expectations and Inspect what you Expect
- Team Member Development – Work closely with Team Leaders to ensure all Team Members are striving to BE THE BEST.
TRAINING – You set the example for your Team
- Coaching/Teaching – Create a culture that encourages constant and consistent improvement around:
- Product Knowledge of all products carried
- Sales Process (GPS)- do it the APEX way!
- Gross margin and metric understanding (Win/Win)
- Customer Experience- 5 Key behaviors, smiles, greeting, ownership, asking about experience with AT&T, asking about recommending, enthusiastic!
- AT&T Learning Solutions – Responsible for 100% training compliance for AT&T online and instructor led courses within 7 days of launch (goal of 3)
SALES & OPERATIONS
- Develop a “Sales Culture” with “Big Picture” understanding
- Numbers Goals – Communicate expectations around goals and drive metric improvement to achieve in goal attainment.
- Scoreboard- Know and focus on Key Metrics to achieve success. Do Scoreboard Reviews at each visit with TL and team. Practice and coach issues. Set expectations. Execute discipline if necessary
- Team Tracking- Do Team Tracking Reviews at each visit with TL and team. Same process as Scoreboard.
- AT&T Reports- Review focus areas to achieve Top 2 ranking in Market
- Behaviors – Ensure behaviors are being taught correctly to ensure consistent results. Right behaviors = Right results
- Financial – Responsible for Gross Margin and Bottom Line Profitability.
- Daily Operations – Oversee and support daily sales and operations of individual stores.
- Compliance- Ensure C&C audit compliance.
- Personnel – Responsible for all aspects of store employee recruiting, management and discipline.
- Communication – Be primary channel for corporate directives to stores
Time- As RL, YOU are the face of APEX to your team. This job requires you to be “in store”. The following is the simple expectation surrounding time:
- 35 Hours per week IN STORE. In store doesn’t include travel time or office work
- Goal of being in store from 9:00 – 5:00 each day, excluding office work
- Company vehicle and gas is provided to facilitate travel
- Vacation and Holiday time will be counted as IN STORE time
- Job to be completed in 42-45 hours per week. Weekly expectation of 42 hours of work time (only commute time above 1 hour per day counts toward 42 hours)
