SUMMARY : Receive cash from customers in payment for goods by performing the following duties. In addition to hourly compensation this position is paid commission at the discretion of the company, and is subject to be changed, modified, or terminated at any time


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES


  • Accurately computes bills, itemized lists, and tickets showing amount due.
  • Makes change and issues wristbands to customers.
  • Reads and records totals in cash register and verifies against employee bank report.
  • Counts and verifies number of wristbands issued. Recounts and verifies number of wristbands turned in.
  • Quotes price and describes promotions and nightly specials.
  • Operates cash register to record price and display cost of customer purchase, tax, and rebates on monitor screen.
  • Follows the Thoughtful Service Model at all times.
  • Responsible for coat check, procedures for coat will be included in the training.
  • Regular attendance required.
  • Other duties as assigned.

This job has no supervisory responsibilities.


QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

High School Diploma or equivalent required.


CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

Must register and maintain registration as a gaming employee in the State of Nevada pursuant to NRS 463.335.


LANGUAGE SKILLS

Must be able to effectively communicate in English.


MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.


COMPUTER SKILLS

Must be able to operate a computer and point of sale system.
